Anbody want to go to St. Louis tomorrow?
I want to go to St. Louis tomorrow to potentially buy this VFR. I'd love a lift there, but if nobody bites, I'll get up at the ass-crack of dawn and take the Amtrak.

Unfortunately, it got bought, and the fellow was insistent that it be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. :( There's another one, a '93, in STL, but the guy hasn't got back with me yet.
There's also one locally, a '92, but he wants way too much for it.

That's a TERRIBLE price. 40fuckingthousand miles is a shitload for a bike.
No it isn't. I know lots of people with more miles than that on bikes, sometimes on multiple bikes. One friend obsessed with V65 Sabres doesn't consider a motor "on its last legs" until it's over 100,000 miles. And that's 1985 technology.
I don't know if you abuse your bikes, buy Harleys or what, but 40,000 miles on a Honda streetbike ain't that much mileage. It's probably got at least another 60,000 miles in it.

You know... that sounds like fun. I'll check with my Creve Coeur posse.
